Think nature documentaries are dry? You have not seen Netflix’s Our Planet. (Look at the link for to see some of the tremendous imagery.) With an angle towards conservation, the documentary series has almost-impossible-to-believe photography from around the world – the poles, jungles, forests, oceans. The video is stunningly awesome (in the true sense of the word).
Our Planet is bittersweet, as we hear time and again in the episodes about species that are going extinct, coral reefs that are disappearing, and global warning. Let’s hope the tremendous appreciation for animals garnered by the show’s majesty can make a difference in human choices.
