Slow Burn is back with a sixth season. The podcast has done a tremendous job covering Watergate (season 1), the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal (season 2 – my favorite), and the Iraq War (season 5) and is back with coverage of Rodney King and the LA Riots. Only the trailer and two episodes are out so far, but the in depth, compelling recounting of this story is fantastic.
Slow Burn does a strong job of really helping to demonstrate the build up to the riots with background information on Rodney King and George Holliday’s searing tape, as well as the killing of 15-year old Latasha Harlins.
