I’m guessing most readers heard Amanda Gorman recite her poem at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, but if you have not, it is a must watch recording. Beyond her presentation, the words are truly inspiring, hopeful, and lyrical. I loved her alliteration and Hamilton references, as well as the way she uses words that almost rhyme, but just don’t quite. Here is a transcript of the poem.
