Sound ridiculous? Oh, it’s not. Just wait until you see his Building the Perfect Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder (41 million views) and Package Thief vs. Glitter Bomb Trap (almost 83 million views). Rober’s genius is in picking hilariously compelling topics, making the engineering digestible, having chutzpah, and being extremely likable. Check him out with kids in tow so that they understand how cool science is.

I remember the glitter bomb package one when it went viral! The boys and I had fun watching some of the videos Rober has made since then. We especially loved the squirrel one. One of the boys’ favorite books is “Those Darn Squirrels!” which involves squirrels stealing from bird feeders, so watching the video was like seeing aspects of the book in real life.
