Grandma Esther’s Easy Shmeezy Blondie Brownies

Preheat oven to 350.

Ingredients

                2/3 C butter – melted

                1.5 C flour

                1 C brown sugar (Sister on the Edge made this recipe with 1/2 the sugar and it still turned out great)

                2 eggs beaten

                1 teaspoon vanilla

                1/4 teaspoon salt

               1.5 C nuts (optional)

                2 teaspoon baking powder

                1 C choc. chips

Beat together butter and eggs. Add sugar, then vanilla. 

Separately, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add this sifted mixture to butter-egg-sugar-vanilla batter. 

Add choc. chips (and nuts). Place in 9×12 pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
