On December 25, Disney and Pixar came out with a great animated film called “Soul,” a sweet and sophisticated movie about music teacher Joe Gardner (played by Jamie Foxx) who gets a fantastic opportunity to play with a famous jazz band, only to be derailed when he falls through a manhole into The Great Before. The flick explores how life is much more beautiful than we humans can grasp, living it day by day. Star power includes Tina Fey, Angela Bassett and music by John Batiste. It’s definitely worth a watch.
