I Will Survive (COVID)

When I heard about Wuhan, I was petrified

Started stress eating, skipped my shopping, never went outside

But then I stockpiled some Purell and made a mask out of a thong

And I grew strong

And found my health I could prolong

COVID came back

A second wave

When you showed up at my front door it had been weeks since your last shave

You should have stayed outside my house, I should have said you turn me off

If I’d have known for just one second you had fever and a cough

Go on now go, walk out the door

Just turn around now

‘Cause you’re now welcome any more

Weren’t you the one who said I took away your breath

Turns out that COVID

Nearly caused my early death

Oh no, not I, I will survive

Oh as long as I can mask and glove, I know I’ll stay alive

I’m doing yoga in my house

I’m listening to the CDC

My telemedicine doctor says you should stay away from me, hey hey
