My belief is that at the core
of everyone’s life is the quality of his or her relationships.
And, ultimately, everything in life is a relationship; the
most important being the one you have with yourself. My coaching
focuses on providing objectivity. This is one of the most
difficult perspectives to receive from family members, though
it is the key to tending to and mending relationships.
My family experienced its own crisis when our 17-year-old
daughter developed an eating disorder. We learned what a secretive
and isolating disease it can be, leaving a person to carry
such a heavy burden alone. We acknowledge her for taking that
first important step; to come to us for help. For months this
crisis turned our family’s world upside down. We had
to face a lot of things together, particularly when she was
placed into a residential treatment facility.
Today we are in the process of recovery as we all seek to
discover and practice the life-long coping skills each of
us will need to implement into our lives. If you are interested
